The Missouri Legislature has just completed its 2013 Legislative Session and already the names of potential Democratic contenders who may want to take a run at the State Auditor position in 2014 is being comtemplated.  On Tuesday, June 18, 2013, an article appeared on the Missouri Times website discussing this matter.

  Captain Rick Zech was awarded the Karl Neid Community Involvement Award.  The Karl Neid Community Involvement Award, established in 1992, honors the late Karl Neid, a City employee and a City Council Member who died from a heart attack after devoting his entire life to serving the citizens of Saint Paul.
St. Clair Shores Receives New Pumps to Fight Marina Fires

CLEVELAND, Ohio--The city's Fire Training Academy opened its doors today to six EMS paramedics, who began eight weeks of training in what city officials described as a "huge" step toward merging Cleveland's divisions of Fire and EMS, possibly by year's end.

47th Biennial Convention

The Missouri State Council of Fire Fighters will hold its 47th biennial convention August 12th, 13th and 14th 2014. The convention will be hosted by the Lake Area Fire Fighters Local 3987 and will be held at the Lodge of the Four Seasons. The Lodge is located at Horseshoe Bend Parkway, Lake Ozark Missouri 65049. Hotel reservations need to be made before July 10th, 2013.

This year's BBQ will be on Saturday July 27th (B-Shift) at 1300 at Long Lake.  Bring the whole family and enjoy a day at the lake.  This is a fun event that brings the whole group closer together.  The closer we are as a group, the stronger we are as a Union.  Last year we had a great turnout, and I would like to keep that tradition alive.

It is with deep regret that Local F-147 announces the passing of Ada Denucci, mother of retired Firefighter Brian Denucci and Shirley Strasser, mother of retired Firefighter Gary Strasser. Mrs. Denucci passed on May 9th St. Barnabas Center for Hospice and Palliative Care in Long Branch ans Mrs Strasser passed on May 29th at her home in Eatontown.
